Founded in 1998 in Sydney’s Seven Hills, Anna’s Curtains is quickly becoming a household name as the finest custom curtain maker in the greater Sydney region. We are about gorgeous, timeless, and high-quality results.
The founder Anna built the now close-knit family-run business from the ground up. Her reputation for personal and quality services is a persistent trait over the decades.
In our studio, we are focused on building each other up and working towards our strengths with a consistent work-life balance.
We are a full supply & install operation – meaning that you deal with us from the initial design consultation to the completion of your installation!

About OUR HISTORY
We are an Australian owned and operated family company based in Sydney that specialises in premium window furnishings and state-of-the-art technology for homeowners, investors, developers, architects and designers.
A qualified consultant will be sent to your home or office to measure, provide an obligation-free design & colour consult and select fabrics to best suit your room.
As most of our products are made in Sydney, we are able to guarantee speedy delivery within 80km of the Sydney CBD.
All products are covered by a 3-year warranty.
The team at Anna’s Curtains love what they do and are one big family – they welcome you into our showroom with open arms to help you with your custom solution. Our team is made up of a team of highly skilled Product Service representatives to help you in our showroom with your selections, Interior designers to assist in whole project solutions, detailed project installers to ensure your project is installed to the highest standards and a back of house team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We started out wanting to provide a locally-made and designed products in a timely and efficient manner. Over the years we have expanded into other product lines so that we are able to provide more of a room design solution and utilise our interior & technological expertise!

Machinist | Seamstress
Our Team:
We have built a team of curious designers, creatives, expert marketers, and installers that are on a mission to ensure our customers get the highest standard of custom curtains. If you’re a team player who refuses to settle for anything less, we want you.
Our showroom is based in Seven Hills in Sydney, Australia.
We are looking for a medium-experience Machinist or Seamstress with a can-do attitude demonstrating some understanding of the design and fabrication of custom material products. You have experience with work practices in a material fabric workroom.
You will be joining our growing workroom team in a full-time position (Or Part-time), working closely with our General Manager. You will be part of the ideation, creation, build, and delivery of products and experiences that drive sales and brand engagement for our Wellness platform. You will bring design thinking to various projects in collaboration with the Creative and Technology teams across International markets.
About the role
● Gather and evaluate workroom efficiencies for better day-to-day operations.
● Cutting, sewing, and measuring fabrics for custom curtain designs.
● Discuss and collaborate with clients in our showroom.
● Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
● Identify and troubleshoot product issues and alert them to the general manager
● Conduct quality checks with the supervision of the general manager
● Organise and establish a clean and safe workroom environment
Our ideal applicant
● 2+ years of experience in a custom material service workroom
● Understanding of design-thinking concepts and the design process
● A can-do attitude with a proactive mindset
● A passion for elegant, quality, and innovative designs with an eye for detail.
● Proficient in commonly used design tools such as a sewing machine, cutters, measuring instruments, iron, threads and pins.
● Detail oriented, problem solver, and customer-centered.
● Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to present design concepts clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners, stakeholders
● A team player but can work autonomously in a fast pace environment
